Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the United States (to all 50 states) and Canada. We hope to ship to more countries soon!

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free shipping on all orders.

What are your shipping options?

We currently ship standard and ground shipping with Canada Post and USPS.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We don’t currently offer expedited shipping. If you’d like to check the status of your order please email us at hello@modechocolate.com.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

After placing your order, it takes up to 8 business days to receive your shipment. The holiday seasons might cause possible delays. You should receive your tracking number as soon as the order processes. It typically takes 24 hours for the tracking number to update with the estimated arrival date.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships out. Give that tracking number 24 hours to update once you receive it, and then you can follow your order on its journey to you.

What happens if my order arrives melted?

Our chocolate is made without preservatives, which means it can melt in the warmer months. From May to October, we do our best to prevent this by shipping with ice packs, but sometimes the weather gets the best of us. If your order melted in transit, please get in touch at hello@modechocolate.com within 5 days of delivery with photos and we’ll do our best to make it right.


What’s your refund policy?

We’re proud to offer a 30 day money-back guarantee so you can decide for yourself if Mode is worth it. If you’re not happy with your Mode chocolate, shoot us an email at hello@modechocolate.com to request a refund. We only offer refunds on your first purchase within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are limited to one purchase per household.

Can I edit or cancel my order?

What payment methods do you accept?

Where did all the sugar go?

We spent years tinkering with formulations to create a great tasting chocolate without the extra sugar. Monk fruit, our not-so-secret ingredient, provides delicious, natural sweetness without any sugar, calories or aftertaste.

Is this chocolate keto-friendly?

Yes! Mode is 100% keto friendly with just 3-4g of net carbs per bar. It’s a perfect snack for anyone on a ketogenic or low carb diet.

What are net carbs?

Not all carbs are created equal. Fiber and (most) natural sweeteners don’t affect your blood sugar, so they’re stripped out to get “net carbs,” which you can think of as the active carbs that affect your body.

Is this chocolate nut-free?

Our chocolate does not directly contain nuts, however, they’re manufactured on equipment that processes peanuts and other tree nuts, so may contain traces.

How should I store my chocolate?

Store your chocolate in a cool, dry place such as a kitchen pantry. 60F/16C is ideal, but definitely below 75F/24C.

My bars have a dull or cloudy appearance on the surface. Are they ok?

Yes! What you're seeing is a bit of cocoa butter on the surface. Chocolate is a matrix of cocoa solids, cocoa butter and sugar. Temperature changes and other factors can cause some cocoa butter to escape the matrix and appear on our chocolate's surface—a process known as "cocoa bloom." Cocoa bloom is purely aesthetic and does not impact Mode’s flavor or shelf life. We've chosen not to use artificial preservatives or stabilizers in Mode, so the appearance of a little cocoa butter on the surface of our chocolate is normal and natural.

Do you have any samples?

We aren’t able to send out any samples at the moment! But, feel free to give Mode a try—if you don’t love it, we’ll refund your first order in full.


What are the benefits of a subscription?

We’ll ship out chocolate every 2, 4, or 8 weeks to make sure your pantry’s always fully stocked. Plus, we offer a discount to all our subscription customers. That’s what we like to call a sweet deal.

How can I cancel, pause, or change my subscription?

Thanks for being a Mode subscriber! You can modify or cancel your subscription anytime in your account.

If you’re unable to login to your account, it’s possible that you didn’t create an account when you first made your subscription purchase. Simply create a new account with the original email you used to purchase and your new account will be automatically linked to your subscription purchase.
